Hi,

I was wondering, would be possible to take out the 1 GB DDR SDRAM I have in my eMac, and put it in the latest iMac, bringing the iMac up to 5GBs, or would there be issues doing that?

Thanks

I see a couple of problems:
1. different types of ram
2. only 2 ram slots

so ....nope.

Sorry for the bad news

The iMac has four ram slots, two of which are filled with 2GBs sticks, leaving two more available for upgrading.

Do not even try it as the modules are not compatible.
