Hi everybody,

I have a mac with 4 users:
- my account which is admin
- my wife
- 2 for my children

I share an iTunes library in a directory where all users have read access. If I want to change permissions on a particular song, I make <opt>-i to get the file information, then scroll down to the file permission, click on the + to add a new user, then give read/write rights to my wife's account.

How can I do that using terminal commands or applescript?

My goal is to integrate it into an automator process which will be linked to my music directory. Therefore each time my wife or me import new files, they will automatically be given r/w rights for both my wife and I.

Is my explanation clear? Sorry for my english by the way...

Thanks for your responses, and a hello from Switzerland ;-)
