I have 2 1GB sticks from my old MB that I tried putting into my MBP. The MBP wouldn't turn on with the new sticks, so I threw the old ones back in. Now it still wont start. Any help?

I hear something on the inside move, maybe sounds like the disc drive. Then the white light on the front starts flashing constant. Worked 100% fine before this.

It sounds like those memory modules are not seated properly. I would open it up and reseat them.

I had tried resetting the SMC, but it didnt work.

Just tried now doing it the way it says to do for a book without a removable battery (which mine does have a removable) and it WORKED!

On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. Released and it booted. Thank you.
