A while ago my hard drive crashed in my powerbook G4. I turned the computer on and it would not boot. I took the hard drive out and put a new one in and now the computer works. However I want to get all of my stuff off my old hard drive but I dont want to spend $500-$1000 on data recovery. I put the hard drive in an enclosure and plugged it into my laptop and it sounds like this http://www.zshare.net/download/708446122c916add/. If anyone can point me in the right direction as far as if this is a part that I could replace or if its a software issue it would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to spend all that money if its something I can do myself. Thanks.
