Will someone please remind me how to move files into my LaCie external storage disk? Start by telling me what I do to make the LaCie disk icon appear in the finder window. The LaCie is already plugged into the USB outlet. It's been a long time since I've used it. Many thanks.

Go into Disk Utility and see if the Lacie external drive appears there, and if so have you actually formatted the drive? Hit Erase and then Format depending on what type of Machine and OS you are using. Always helps if you list the machine model, processor, OS etc.
