preview and PDF's

1.2gHz g4, 12 inch, 60 gig, 768RAM, bluetooth, ATI radeon 9200, macally bluetooth mouse, JBL speaker
for some reason, when i click a link on the internet thats a pdf, it asks me what i want to do, so i click open in PREVIEW, and it opens in Adobe. im lost. how do i get links on the net to open up in the same window with preview and pdf files on my computer to open up in adobe? is there any way? i currently have two pdf plugins in "internet plugins". a PDF BROWSER PLUGIN and an ADOBE PDF VIEWER. and apparently neither work.

ctrl+click the file. click get info. there should be a section that says open with. select the app you want to open that type of file with. after that click the change all button in the same section.
