Connecting Airport Extreme to a Playstation 3 Slim

I'm thinking of buying a Playstation 3 Slim and utilizing its built-in WiFi capabilities to connect to my Airport Extreme. Does anyone have any experience with this situation? Was it an easy process? Is the connection fast and reliable? Any input would be appreciated.

I use my PS3 with the AExtreme. It works great, and the online gameplay has not lagged yet. I have had the ps3 hooked up this way for about 8 months, I have had COD MW2 for 4 weeks, and I have yet to see the online game lag.
