    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

Imovie stopped recognising camera

Hi guys,

I recently bought the Panasonic Ts1 point and shoot camera. It takes video in the AVCHD format. For a while, it worked as it should - I plug in the camera to my mac via USB, then iMovie 09 opens and the camera import window opened.

However, recently iMovie stopped recognising the camera. I know the mac recognises it because it appears on the desktop and all other programs such as iPhoto recognise it. However only iMovie can import video of that format and it fails to recognise it.

If i manually open the camera import video, it only registers the built in isight camera and not the Panasonic.

Please could you help me?

Thanks

Dave
