title says all, can I use my macbook on a plane? and can I fly with my macbook? I saw a post that said the maximum operating alitude was 10000 ft and the maximum storage altitude was 35000ft

edit: I have also used my ipod touch and my ipod nano at like 35000ft and they work fine. idk if that is similar though

The aircraft cabin in pressurised, and therefore does not 'act' like real 35,000ft. It's just like sea level. Your MacBook, and all your other equipment will operate fine. It's only the cabin crew telling you to put it away for take-off and landing you have to worry about! :)

The plane is pressurized! So yeah, you can use your macbook on a plane. Only at cruising altitude though, or the flight attendants will get mad at you, ha.

Check with the airline prior to flying as security is again well to the fore following the latest incidents.

So yea all will be fine flying, but trying to keep passenger prying eyes out of my work was a tad difficult lol

yeah i used mine on a 15 hour flight, just turn off the airport so you dont mess anything up..just incase. why not be safe then sorry? when ur 10,000+ feet up you dont want any technical problems happening with the plane, you'll be screwed.
