I have this menulet installed that plays "relaxation" sounds like ocean waves, crickets etc. It is driving me crazy and I cannot uninstall it. I have done searches for the aif files to find the name of the application, w/o success. The menulet icon is a small black crescent shape. It looks like this:

MobileMe Gallery

Any help appreciated in figuring out the name of the app that created this menulet would be greatly appreciated.

If u have no luck with finding what to get rid of, you could try running the latest combo updater for your OS in the hope that it will 'do the deed'. I assume you have looked into Sys Prefs/Accounts/Login Items.

Look in /Library/Startupitems, or launchagents or launchdaemons and see if anything you don't recognize is starting up at login.
Also have you tried command-dragging the icon off the menubar?
