Nothing like why should I buy a mac it's probably more complicated then that. Just kidding, I'm currently a Macbook (whitebook) owner and I am buying a new Pro in the next couple weeks. I need some pros vs. cons on the 13 vs. 15 inch models. I only use it for college and some photoshop (not extensive). I mainly use it for internet, music, photo editing from my camera and some drawing for t-shirt designs for my new company I'm starting. What would be the better model? I don't have 2,000 dollars so I can't get the big 15" but I do like the 15" model however I travel a lot to and I don't want to deal with a really large computer as well.

Thanks for any help.

It sounds to me as if the 13" Macbook Pro will do everything you're looking for and be easy to carry around too.

You can always hook up to an eternal monitor if you ever need to work bigger.

Well go to one of your apple stores and play with the computers, see if you really need the 15in or the 13in is good enough.

Personally, I just bought a 13in mbp and it does everything I need it to do. If you really need a big screen, just buy a external monitor.

They both have SD card slots for your camera.

It really just depends if you need the 15in screen or not, like I said, go play with the mbps at a apple store

realistically, the 13" isn't THAT much more portable than the 15", especially in the weight department. Get a 15" if you plan to do anything more than medium workloads on the road or away from an external monitor.

I agree. My bro has a 13" Macbook and I have a 15" MBP. To me, it's enough of a difference that I'm very glad I went with the larger screen size.

I just bought a new MBP 15 and to me its worth it for the screen size while still being
portable.

Yeah I like the idea of a 15" model myself. Don't have room for a workstation at home right now so a larger screen is a better solution I think. Any major differances in the models other than faster processor and screen size?
