Help please!
hi, i recently got a 27" Imac from the apple store.
Everything was going well until i went on to youtube and everytime i play a video the audio sounds like its skipping and sometimes even sounds as if the the video is in slow motion..

Just wondering is anybody else has experienced this, if so, any advice?

What media player are you using when it does this?

erm none i don't think? just playing through youtube..
i've played the same videos on my macbook aswell, and they're perfect quality so it's not to do with youtube, it must be to do with my Imac.
I just can't figure out what?

Which browser were you using and check that you have the latest version of Flash installed.

Also visit other sites with Flash video and see if they all manifest the same problem or if it's only Youtube..

First, from desktop, type Cmd-F. Enter Flash in the search field. Finder will locate every file associated with 'flash'. Click the little i symbol beside Flash Player, the version should show.

Check Adobe - Adobe Flash Player for the latest version of Flash appropriate to your OS.

If the iMac is brand new, I'd be taking it back to the Apple store - the video card may be faulty.

i'm using safari.. how do i check which version of Flash i have?

The link was in my post..perhaps it was too subtle, but the others have pointed it out..either way..a new iMac should definitely not have this problem..something is awry.

And this computer is not at Apple right now why?

New computers work out of the box thats the reason to buy new and apple..

If you didn't install Flash yourself, then the video is playing in HTML 5..

Take the computer to Apple, let them fix it, it's what they do for a living.
