About the charging adapter?

Will leaving the charging cord in my Mac at all times have any effect on my Mac's overall battery life? should leave it unplugged until its close to dead?

I gott say, going from a HP Pavilion dv6000 which had a battery life (on power safe) of MAYBE 35min (assuming no major programs are running) to a computer that I can use unplugged practically all day. Maybe even the next day is just ..... awsome !! ;D
