Merry Christmas everyone !!!

I have an iBook G4.... I have an external hardrive problem, transfering any files to it. Warning comes up saying something about permissions can anyone advise me please. I use the Ex HD as a backup store. used to use it on my XP windows laptop.

The drive is probably formatted to NTFS which means that it is read only from your iBook. Use Disk Utility to reformat it to either FAT-32 or HFS extended.
