iChat and AIM Problems

right here is the deal....

i've got iChat and my friend has AIM

when i invite her to a video confrence she can't see the invite....

then if she sends me it i accept... it says 'Starting Video Confrence'

-THEN-

it says something about failing because other person did not respond!!!

what is going on?? and how do i stop it? please help!!! thanks a bunch!!!

AIM video chatting is not completely 100% and easily thrown off by routers, firewalls, etc.

Do you or she have any of that stuff running?

I got that exactly happened to me. I still can't figure it out.
So frustrated, we have to download Yahoo messenger before we could at least see each other but iGlasses only supports iChat! :mad: :mad:

Tried to turned off firewall but still no go. Maybe there's a built-in firewall in my wireless router!

Yes, there is a built in firewall in your router, which you should be able to disable by opening up your router prefrences.
