Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible for me to use my eMac as an additional monitor (not mirrored) for a Macbook.

Answers appreciated. :)

Connect the 2 with a Firewire - assuming your MacBook has the socket - start the MacBook in target mode by holding the T key, then start eMac normally and MacBook will show up on eMac desktop. Other choices? - don't know.

Does that method just display the Macbook on the eMac screen, and nothing on the Macbook screen?

eMac has no video input as such, only mirror out. If you knew how to 'get inside', and then patch into the CRT display cable connections, including power supply, and could disable the eMac HD <> monitor interface, you could possibly have it operating as a monitor only.
