I have set my preferences in chrome to open my homepage on startup. My homepage is set to BBC NEWS | News Front Page - when I open chrome I get the following screen instead of BBC News. What gives?

It's still in Beta, things like bookmarks and homepage aren't yet fully operational.

Kev beat me to it but he is right, it's in Beta and especially the OSX version is far from complete. That is probably the reason that part does not work.

Since I posted my post above I fired up my Intel Mac and the latest version of Chrome for OSX. The Home Page saves just fine.

i recommend just using firefox until the final version of chrome is released. theres tons of bugs in chrome, firefox is proven to work
