I was just looking at the Site Stats and wondering, is there going to be a door prize for the 1 Million post mark? Yes, it is still a little ways away but those things can catch up fast.

Perhaps we can vote on the 'door prize'? Might I suggest a plush Automator.

I really just wanted an excuse to say 'plush Automator'. It amused me. But I agree a member upgrade would be a friendly gesture. We can't all be masters of whit or moral sages. Sometimes its just nice to have something for free. Not like Oprah free, but more like for novelty sakes.....hmm, is that an oxymoron?

Why is there a trend of Canadians being so anti-materialistic? I continue to find Canadian insights far too progressive and antiquated to be of much use to me. And yet at the same time they adroitly dodge being eccentric. It's like Mary Margaret Wildeblood without the mantle center piece.

In my experience it's the only the ones who are not from the larger eastern cities such as Toronto or Montreal. That's a generalization I realize but most of the rest of the country seem content to just be.
