It's not horribly difficult to click zoom once or twice every time I open Safari. It would be much cooler if there were a way to make the "Zoom" feature permanent. Does anyone know of a feature or a work around for this?

Thanks.

Safari Menu > Preferences > Appearance

There are two fonts to adjust. Click each Select... button and increase the font size. You can also select a different font, if there is one that is more legible for you.

I should have said "that doesn't include only upping the font size".

I'm not only squinting to read the text, but the images too.

Yes, it would be. Following up on the toolbar customization, in case you're not familiar with that.... Secondary click (right or control click) at the top of your Safari window, and pick Customize Toolbar... (the only option) Drag items onto your Toolbar from the "pop down".

That's as "permanent" as it gets with Zoom, I fear.

If enabled in Sys Prefs/Universal Access and it does everything as opposed to just Safari, unless Safari is the active window then it deals with just that. In Mail it enlarges just the selected message text, tricky.
