downloaded program = opens final cut hd.

Whenever i download a program (windows media player and aim) and try to open it the .bin file opens final cut hd and i get an error message saying "wrong file type". Any reason im having this problem.

I just got my computer a few days ago and im gonna have tons of questions.

Control-click on the file, Get Info, go to "Open with:", then select DiskImageMounter from the drop down list, then click "Change All".

i can't find disk image mounter but i do have an application called diskwarrior.

Forgot you said .bin not .img or .dmg. Download StuffIt Expander, and select that app to open up the .bin file, instead of DiskImageMounter.

Edit: Just click the download link and don't enter in your info.
