I have an iMac which is also connected to my TV for watching movies, etc.

Is there a way to sleep the main monitor on the iMac when watching something on the TV?

System:
- early 2006 iMac 20"
- ATI Radeon x1600
- OS 10.6.2

Thanks.

I posted this in the hardware section, but no responses and the question is in the gray area between hardware and software...

Still better to bump the original thread than to crosspost.

Now without a separate keyboard/mouse - close the lid, let it go to sleep, then wake it up.

Or do what I do, just dim the display all the way down.

Will merge this with the original.

Sorry - didn't realize how to move the post.

Just one more question. Where do I find the lid on my iMac? :)
