Hello, i have an iMac G5 17" 1.8 GHz PowerPc G5 processor with version tiger 10.4.11. I would like to upgrade to Intel core 2 duo without buying a new iMac so i could get leopard 10.5.1 but really don't have a clue how too. Could anyone help me out please ? 3. You don't need an Intel machine for Leopard 10.5.1. It should install on your PPC machine just fine.

As bobtomay says, Leopard OS X.5.8 will install on the iMac, and hopefully cwa107 removed your email address quickly otherwise you are going to have a VERY spammy Christmas!
