Hello, first post!
I have an intel iMac running 10.4.11. I just got internet and set up my modem. It works fine with my roommates windows computer and ipod touch, but I always get the dreaded "there was an error joining network ..." when I try to connect. I can connect with my neighbors networks, no problem so I know my airport is working...

Anyone have any ideas? I really know nothing about this stuff. Thanks in advance

What brand and model is the modem? Is this DSL? Cable?

I take it the Modem has WiFi? What encryption are you using like WEP? WPA?
