multiple subnets and Airport Extreme ?
My home network is currently a single subnet, and I'd like to segment off some of the traffic. In a nutshell I have:
ISP device (modem/router/firewall/switch) <-> Airport Extreme 802.11n <-> wired and wireless devices
I'd like to have (again, in a nutshell):
ISP device <-> AEX <-> wireless traffic (subnet A)
ISP device <-> wired traffic (VoIP modem/router) (subnet B)
I've played around with the AEX, but it gets unhappy when I point it to a router that is on a different subnet. I have a few extra routers sitting around that could be deployed it needed.
Any thoughts here?
thanks!
