transferred itunes library to new mac but it doesn't appear in itunes

Hi, I followed the instructions on the apple website on transferring my itunes library from my old pc to new mac (basically by using ipod as hard disk). The library successfully transferred to my music folder on mac as instructed. But when I open itunes, the library is empty. Any idea why?

i have done this kind of thing before..i would have to guess that you need to show iTunes where the folder is.
go preferences/ advanced/ browse for the folder you moved.
