Windows 7 on 27 inch screen

Just installed windows 7 on my brand new Mac (its 7 days old and I have to take it back to the shop as I too have the 'flicker screen bug').

Anyway - I tried to adjust the windows display to my 27 inch screen but it only goes up to 24 inch. Where can I find the right driver. I tried the Mac OS install CD but it's not working.

Windows doesn't know anything about screen size. It only knows resolution. What resolution are you trying to use?

The previous reply is on target. You need to set the correct resolution in order to fill the screen. First, determine which video chipset your 27" iMac has. Then go to the chipset maker's web site and download the latest drivers for Windows 7 (which should be the same as for Vista).

(Your 27" iMac has either an ATI Radeon 4670 or 4850 GPU.)
