I hooked up my macbook pro to my HDTV, I can see my wallpaper clearly but not my dock or any apps. If I want to use anything (firefox, games, mail, itunes...etc) I have to drag it from my macbook pro (screen connected to the laptop) to the right side of my screen, it will then show up on my HDTV. Is there any way I can make it so my computer screen is exactly what is shown on my HDTV screen?

Your Mac's Specs
Way... way too many specs to list.
this seems to be a pretty common question these days. it's in system preferences, display.. you want to mirror your displays.
