Loud beeping?

I have had my macbook for almost 1 1/2 years now, and it has recently started beeping whenever I press the power button, to turn it on. So far, this has happened to me three times. I need help :( please

Beeping during the POST usually indicates bad memory. Check the memory modules in your machine, or replace them with known good ones.
