Running Windows Media Center in vmware fusion

Dear all,

I hope I am posting this in the correct place.

I am a new Mac user, and would like to know if I can connect my Windows Media Center Extender (Xbox 360) to my Windows 7 if I run windows 7 in VMware Fusion?

You may be able to get the control to work with the mac without the need to run windows by using xbmc as a media centre

If i cannot get it to work will the solution with vmware fusion and windows 7 work, or will windows 7 not show up on my network as an independent PC?

Does anyone know?
