itunes/quicktime itunes and quicktime has a screen saying 3ivx trial expire

My itunes and quicktime has a screen saying 3ivx trial expired splashed across them.

The video plays fine behind this screen. If I try to add another movie file it also add the same info to the movie artwork and effects playback on my apple tv in the same way

Any assistance in how to kill this thing would be appreciated. I have deleted anything I can find in relation to Divx

3ivx comes with an removal script. Run that.

If you've deleted the removal script, download 3ivx again, and then run the removal script.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it but still no joy. Via the download I did find 3ivx forums and help centre. I will try that.
