hello
I have a macbook pro (late 2007 model) running tiger. I want to upgrade to snow leopard but keep hearing mixed things about it.

I have 2 major questions that i would appreciate if someone could answer:Oops:

1- if i were to upgrade to snow leopard, will Final Cut Pro 5.0 (which is what i have now) still work??

2- My macbook pro has 2.16 GHz intel core 2 due with 1gb RAM, can i add expandable memory(ram) to this computer?

Thank You :)
Happy Holidays!

Your Mac's Specs
MacBookPro 11,2 <--DAW!!!
From reading the Apple website, you'll have to get Final Cut Pro 7 to run on Snow Leopard.
Also I believe your Rev C MBP can accept up to 3 GB (1x 2 GB and 1x 1 GB) of RAM.

If Tiger and FCP 5 is working out well for you, why upgrade?

Your Mac's Specs
3.06 GHZ iMac, 500 GB Hard drive, 4 GB RAM, Intel Core i3 duo processor, Mac OS X 10.6.8
You could always run final cut 5 on Rosetta.
