Hi All - first post here.
I have a G5 tower with 2 hard drives - a 250 and 500 GB. The 250 has 10.4.8 installed - the 500 has no OS on it. For compatibility reasons, I need to keep 4.8 running, but I would like to be able to boot into 10.5 if I wanted.
Is it possible to install 10.4.8 on the empty 500 GB drive, up grade to 10.5, and then just select my boot drive when I turn the computer on? Any dangers or pitfalls I should look out for here?
This may be a simple of obvious question - but any advice would be greatly appreciated!
thanks a lot,
Adam
