iDVD wont burn DVD

im trying to burn a DVD in iDVD that i made in iMovie.the DVD-R that im using is a + DVD-R, do i need to use a -DVD-R ???.its in pal version

What version of iDVD are you using, what are you trying to burn and there is no such thing as a +DVD-R. The two types are DVD-R and DVD+R, which of the two are you using?
