Hey guys,
I've been trying to connect to our AD (not Exchange) LDAP address book with Address Book/Mail.app with no success.
I run a Windows LAN at work using AD with Windows Server Small Business Server 2003 at the backend. Outlook users (and myself when using Windows via Parallels) can easily connect to the directory via LDAP, but I can't seem to be able to in Address Book.
I'm using the same server settings as the Windows users, but it still doesn't show up.
I belive the problem lies within the Search Base setting. I've tried several but none of them seem to work. Our domain uses the .local namespace (instead of .com). Using port 389, no SSL, Subtree scope and Simple authentication.
Has anyone been able to connect to and LDAP directory? Any help will be very much appreciated.
