I'm thinking of getting a Mac Mini to use as a media center, but I'm wondering what model I should get. I don't mind an older (used) model as long as it will run what I need it for. In fact, I'd probably prefer a used model for the cost benefit. Here's what it will be used for:
* Hooked up to a 50" plasma with a DVI cable
* Watching Hulu and other flash-based online video
* Running Plesk to play movies
* Ocassionally ripping and writing CDs and DVDs
What is minimum hardware recommendations for this kind of setup? Hulu recommends at least Intel Pentium Core Duo 2.0GHz for their desktop software, but I'm wondering if that includes viewing the site through the browser? Doest anyone here have any experience running Hulu on Mini's with less than 2.0 MhZ?
Thanks!
Julia
