I'm an Aussie needing a little help!
I'm looking for the best way to run a GPS nav. system on my Macbook. I understand I'll need a GPS connected, software and also 'local' maps.
I now live and travel 'full time' in remote areas of northern Australia and I'm creating a remote travel, Northern Australian web site, so for many reasons it's logical to use a Mac based GPS system.
My experience is that anything that works in the States is fine here, excluding local maps.
I realise that this may not be the best place to 'Post' such a specialised question.
So all suggestions of a more suitable 'States' GPS Forum would also be appreciated.
Thanks and have a great Christmas.
Grant
