Newegg ad

Umm... can someone please explain why newegg is advertising WINDOWS 7 on this forum... seems like they could have better success advertising something else.

MY MBP is the first thing in the house I put Windows 7 on.

Strange...

Why not? People who own Macs are more likely to need copies of Windows 7 than PC users since their computers tend to come with Windows preinstalled. So this is actually the perfect forum.

You need to be a little more open minded about these sorta things.

I doubt Mac-forums is the only place that newegg is advertising their W7. Why not anyways? Lot's of people who have macs run windows to game on or run other programs.

This is a good placeto put it, and has already been stated why. Plus, I do not think the moderators here can even tell Newegg, Crucial, or whoever what kinds of ads they can put on here.

Advertisers can peddle whatever they want - they pay for the space. If it's not for the targeted audience, that's their problem, not ours.

If it really bothers you, there's an easy way to avoid seeing ads, premium membership.
