Virtual box problem

When the virtual box opens it displays devices, on there should be CD/DVD-rom where i have to input some data unfortunately this is not there and cant find away how to get it there.

I have tried the install disc but this does not get it to display in the virtual box otherwise it is about ready to go, has anybody had this problem and able to resolve it. (the error message displayed is fatal error something like disk or drive not found)

Have you installed the Virtual Box "Guest Additions"? Follow the directions in this LINK.
