Macbook fan died

Hi guys, While i am browsing the internet, suddenly i heard a tickling sound and eventually i noticed that my fan died.....I do have apple care plan...but i would like to know, how long does it take to get it fixed. Any ideas??

not sure but i would guess a few days for an apple store and a little over a week or two if you send it in, but don't take my word, its just an educated guess.

If you're planning on taking it in to an Apple store (genius bar), make an appointment first. The stores are very busy this time of year and that means the genius bar is likewise busy. Normally a fan can be swapped out by a technician in an hour or so if there's nothing else wrong, but again that depends on how busy they are.
