hi there,
today i received a new macbook. after doing the initial setups i connected my speakers to it. no sound was played through the high fi system (connected to the mac using an aux cable) so i wiggled it about a bit because i used to do this on my old macbook and this made it work. But when i pulled it the jack out i saw a red light. Now though everytime i try to connect speakers or headphones no sound will get played through them and i cant see a red light appearing anymore. any advice on what i should do would be much appreciated.
