Panther Help?

Hi, we are running Panther server, and when users add files onto the server, others have problems taking them off because of permissions. I read in Mac World that there is a way to take off Disk Permissions using disk utility. Is there a way to do this now, or does it have to be a newly installed Hd? I would like to avoid repairing permissions every couple of weeks, so this is why I am asking. Thanks in Advance.

You can open up the permissions on your personal data, but you can not change the permissons on your system files. To do so, would crash your system.
