like the subject said, my girlfriend had a 3gs for a month left it on back of car, fell off on freeway glass shattered *badddd* removed the screen, nothing on inside looked messed up in anyway, the outside case is scuffed a little bit, luckly had a rubber sleeve on, but fell off probably towards the end of it sliding across the number 5 lane. Anyways, i want to see if it will still work by using the screen from my 3g but i dont want to short out my screen and have to buy 2 screens in the end. Anyone know if its possible? They have the same connections.

I'm about 90% sure it won't work. check mmi.com they have some experts who can give you a definite answer.

I understand the ribbon cables are different, so may not work.
