iPhone 3gs 16 gig problem

My iphone 3gs had 70% battery life this morning, was using phone as normal. 10 minutes later phone went dead. Could not charge,sync,or enter recovery mode,, nothing! Left it plugged in for 2 hours, came back and tried to turn on still nothing.Finally after pushing on,off button numerous times it fired up?? Anyone ever experienced anything with there iphone 3gs like this? My battery also only lasts 1 day under normal use.

Hiya,

It could be a battery problem or it could be software, my iPhone 3G started playing up a couple of months ago. It said 90% battery, then suddenly went down to 15%, I then watched a video and it went up to 75% before going down to 6% and switching off. I would take it back, it will still be in warranty so they can repair it for you.
