I think I accidentally stumbled upon a site that I think might have loaded malware onto my mac. I'm a new mac user. I do not have Windows on my mac. How do I tell if my mac is loaded with malware and if it is, how do I get rid of it?

What makes you think you're infected. How, in any way, is your Mac misbehaving?

Regards

Did you enter your password when it was in the process of installing?

If this "site" involved porn and video, you probably got the ONLY Trojan in existence for the Mac. If you entered your password for it to install a quicktime Codec, yeah....

Sorry, but isn't there more then one trojan, mostly embedded in Pirated Software?

There was something floating around in pirated versions of iWork for a bit I believe, but it seems to have dies out. There have been no others that I m aware of. The Quicktime Video Codec / Porn related one is still out there though.

Both required the user to enter their password to install though...
