flag email

Hi Everyone,
I want to send an email so that it is flagged. What I mean is when the person receives the email, I would get some kind of message to say it has been read or opened. Anyone any idea how to do this

What you're looking for is called Read Receipts. You can force Mac Mail to send this request along with your email as well as other mail clients like Thunderbird and so on.

The person you're sending the email to has to also have a client that recognizes and acknowledges the read receipt which will usually become a pop-up telling them that a message is going to get sent back to you indicating that you've read their email.

Most people find this thing annoying, so unless you KNOW for a fact that your recipient is find with this, you should probably be mindful..
