Bought a new aluminum 15.2 PowerBook a week ago and am having some problems. I have been using an iBook for two years with absolutely nothing going wrong, so I am baffled. I have not yet tried using any Applications but, relative to mail, internet, General and Finder, the PowerBook does not pay any attention to the way I set my Preferences. I am in the process of transferring files from iBook to PowerBook (using crossover cable) and PowerBook seems to freeze easily and many times, necessitating a shutdown. In addition, have been faced with a strange window, in about six different languages, reading : "You need to restart your computer..." O.S. versioon is 10.2.7. Any suggestions.
