Hi,

I recently installed a BT 2110 wireless router, however my MacBook will not properly connect to it.
Despite entering the password and it being accepted I am still unable to browse the internet from it, even though airport shows full signal strength and is supposedly connected to the network.

I'm sure it isn't a problem with the router, as it works with a wired connection to my old P.C, and my MacBook has connected to many other networks without problems.

Help appreciated.

What type of security are using between the router and your MacBook? If you're using WEP, change it to WPA or WPA2. During the time you're making changes through the router, hook your MacBook to it using an ethernet cable in order not to lose contact.

Regards.
