Is it possible to dual boot a XP with OS X 10.5.8 without using Boot Camp? When I boot to the XP Disk at start up, my computer is able to start the XP setup, but I don't want to mess anything up. Is that the right thing to do? When/How/Where do i partition? help?

15in MBP - 27in iMac - iPhone
All the info you need should be here.
Apple - Support - Boot Camp

While in OSX go to: App.>Utilities> Boot Camp Assistant

Others ways to have multiple OS on your mac would be; Parallels or VMware Fusion. But BootCamp is free (besides cost of the OS)

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Dual booting will require the latter of the above, and Parallels latest version gives you that option, with bootcamp, which it didn't in the past.
