I'm trying to empty my trash of some files from my flash drive but got a message saying that the operation couldn't be completed b/c I don't have permission to access some of the items. I created all of them, but don't remember placing any special permissions on them. How can I fix this so I can get rid of them?

P.S. If I open Trash in terminal it doesn't list any files, but if I open the Trash window GUI then the files are there, so I'm missing something, but can't figure out what.

repair permissions first. I'd also trash the .plist for the dock
