If you're just wanting them to see the movie, use the export using quicktime under the share menu and export the video as either a quicktime movie (and tell them to get quicktime if they don't already have it - which I would be surprised if they don't since so many sites use quicktime video) or as an mp4 (WMP may require a codec pack to play an mp4 (especially if it is using h.264 codec for video), I honestly don't remember). Another option is to export using quicktime, and export it to an AVI (although I've never tried this and don't know how good it will look).
Your easiest solution is to export to a quicktime movie and let them have it, telling them they'll want to get quicktime player to watch it.
If you want them to have the project like so they can edit it in windows movie maker (ie: with your edits so they can change them, etc.) - that, AFAIK is a no-can-do.
